Adelberg & Montalvan Pediatric Dental

September 29, 2015
"Mom, that was so much fun!"

Can you believe that this is what my son said to me as we walked out of the door from his dental visit?  Although my son has been visiting the dentist for years, this was our first time at Adelberg and Montalvan Pediatric Dentistry.  From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, everything was wonderful.

When we walked in, we were both wowed by the waiting room.  We received a warm welcome from the staff at the front desk, and quickly checked in.  There was no paperwork to fill out, since all of the new patient forms are available at their website, so everything was already taken care of.  After hanging out in the waiting room for just a few minutes, we were given a tour of this fun, welcoming, state of the art office.

There was a brushing station, for those that arrive straight from school and would like to brush before seeing the dentist.
Little surprises were around every turn.  There is so much to look at throughout the office that it will help put any patient at ease.

Once we were in the room, my son was very comfortable.  Dr. Bennet talked to Luca and told him jokes throughout.
Luca also loved the view!  There is a tv on the ceiling for kids to watch during their exam.  We enjoyed one of our favorites, Spongebob.  On the ceiling!

Dr. Bennet was great.  He was very thorough and explained everything throughout.  I had several questions and concerns unique to my son and he patiently answered them all.  We never felt rushed. At the end of our visit, there was only one person in the waiting room.  I loved seeing that they don't over book their patients and that we really had all of the time we needed.

When the visit was done, Luca got a new toothbrush and a prize, and asked to hang out in the waiting room a little longer.  He made a friend and they wanted to play one of the many cool games together.
"Mom, that was so much fun!"

Have you ever heard that walking out of the dentist office?  I highly recommend taking your children to Adelberg and Montalvan Pedicatric Dentistry.  Both you and your kids will love it!

We are excited at Adelberg Montalvan Pediatric Dentistry to be part of the Macaroni Kids community!   At Adelberg Montalvan Pediatric Dental our purpose is to provide exceptional mental and dental care that can impact your child’s life forever.  Our practice has been providing excellent pediatric dentistry to children of Long Island for over 14 years.  We have three locations: Nesconset, Massapequa Park and our newest location in West Islip.

Together we strive to care for your children as if they were our own.  In our practice your children are people, not just numbers.  Combined we have five pediatric dentists and two orthodontists.  This allows us to offer lots of evening and weekend hours.  If you call after hours, you always get a real doctor not an answering service.  Of course your family is welcome to stay with one particular doctor in one location or switch between doctors and locations.  Unlike many dentists, you are welcome to accompany your child during the visit, or if you want, enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee in our reception area and relax with a magazine, TV, or playing video games.  You would be surprised how many adults play the games!

We were pleased to be the first pediatric dental office in Long Island to provide Versa Wave Laser Dentistry. Our doctors are board certified and the technology we use is state of the art in order to provide top notch dental care to all of our patients.  Because we use dental lasers many of our restorations can be placed without the need for shots.   This also allows us to do other procedures like zap away canker sores.  Our office uses digital charts and digital radiographs to reduce radiation.  We are latex free, gluten free, amalgam free and offer Fluoride alternatives when desired.

We are specialists in treating children with special needs and complicated medical histories.  When needed for young children or special needs patients, we can offer in house sedation with a team of anesthesiologists and nurses so all of a child’s dental needs can be met in our child friendly office.

We provide dental care in a comfortable and kid friendly environment.  All of our offices are themed and look more like a theme park than a dental office.  Children cry when they need to leave and we are often asked if we host parties.  Our support staff is specifically trained to ensure that each visit with us is nothing less than extraordinary!  We offer excellent customer service and will handle your insurance company for you.  Even adults can feel welcome in the office and many seek orthodontic treatment or Invisalign with us.  Though we are asked all the time we only see adults for orthodontics not regular dental care.

Our mission is to continually educate patients and their parents in order to correct existing problems and work toward preventing future dental issues. It is our pleasure to provide you and your child with the tools to maintain lifelong oral health!
