Back To School Brunch With Eggland's Best!

September 29, 2015
We had a great time at our Eggland's Best Back To School Brunch! I loved creating dishes and trying new recipes with ingredients that are healthy and delicious. Eggland's Best eggs come from hens fed an all-natural, all-vegetarian diet consisting of healthy grains, canola oil, and an all-natural supplement of rice bran, alfalfa, sea kelp, and Vitamin E. Which explains why they taste so delicious!  A natural, whole, healthy food which is the perfect ingredient in all of your favorite recipes. Our guests loved everything!

We tried several recipes straight from the Eggland's Best website. We had classic deviled eggs, the layered tortilla bake,  and the Decadent Broccoli Souffle. We also enjoyed a 'make your own pancake' bar, along with some delicious desserts and snacks.

There are SO many different recipes available on EB's website that it was hard to choose which ones to make.  It is a great resource for your next party! A "Back to School" brunch is a great way to catch up with friends and family and to get your kids to try new things. Involving the kids in the cooking process always makes them more willing to to take a taste.

When you're cooking with Eggland's Best, don’t toss the EB Yolk! An entire Eggland's Best egg is a delicious and nutritious way to get so many important vitamins and minerals. While the egg whites contain a majority of the egg's protein, it's the yolk that contains almost all of the essential nutrients in an EB egg! An easy way to have your yolks is to make hard "boiled" eggs right in your oven.  Did you know you could do that? There is a great demo video on the EB website that shows you just how simple and efficient it is. When you toss the yolk, you are throwing out 100% of vitamins A, D, and E, 100% of Omega-3’s, almost all Vitamin B12, B3, choline and folic acid, all of the Lutein, all of the B6, almost half of the protein, and much much more. Eat your yolks!
