A Review: The 2nd NYC NotWedding

April 21, 2014
We had the opportunity to attend the second NotWedding NYC, and what a beautiful evening it was! The NotWedding is a bridal show alternative in the form of a big, fake wedding.  This was an amazing way to see so many incredible vendors in one place, while having lots of fun!

My friend Maria and I enjoyed beautiful music, delicious food, and got so many wonderful ideas for her upcoming wedding this fall.  As we walked through the "Tunnel of Love," we were able to meet with so many great people and view examples of all of their unique wedding services.  I know that Maria walked out with many great new connections for her wedding services.

One of our favorite parts of the event was seeing so many beautiful examples of table settings and flowers.  With a different designer outfitting each table that evening, the room was just beautiful.  So many little extras on each table that we had never thought of.  Other favorites of the night were the Haiku Stand, the Magbooth, and the Ben & Jerry's set up.  Amazing touches!

Aside from being a great place to meet vendors and get wonderful ideas, the NotWedding was a really fun way to spend our evening.  Dinner, dessert, dancing, at the incredible Wythe Hotel.  I highly recommend the NotWedding for anyone planning an upcoming wedding-- whether it be for yourself, your friend, or your family member.  Honestly, even if you're not planning a wedding-- this event would still be fun!

Stay tuned for more information on the next NotWedding NYC-- coming this Fall!
