Review: Madame Tussauds New York!

By Michele Iallonardi July 6, 2014
Madame Tusssauds is definitely one of my favorite places to visit in New York!  We had the chance to go last week and we loved all of the new exhibits.

There is SO much to do there!  Our group was three generations-- kids, mom, and grandma- and everyone had a blast.  Madame Tussauds is so interactive that every room has something fun and exciting to do.

We started out our trip at the 'Opening Night Party' and took tons of pictures with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Kim Kardashian, and more.  Everyone was starstruck!

This time around, there were so many great classic movie displays, from the Wizard of Oz, to E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.  E.T. was definitely one of my favorites of the day!

My boys loved posing in many different scenes in the Spirit of New York. This exhibit is so much fun!  They got to ring the bell at the Stock Exchange, climb in the Statue of Liberty's crown, drive a NYC cab, work a hot dog cart, and so much more.  We love the music in this room too.  It's all about New York!

In the Gallery, we posed with the President, signed the Declaration of Independence, and saw many heroes, leaders, and royalty. History and fun, all in one!

There is so much to do at Madame Tussauds.  There are sports players, musicians, astronauts, news people, even Sponge Bob! Madame Tussauds doesn't just create incredible wax figures, but they make entire scenes around them.  And you can touch everything!

Make sure you see the Marvel Super Heros 4-D experience.  Our group loved posing for pictures with the Hulk and then seeing him on the big screen. The show was awesome and the special effects had the whole audience busting with excitement.  Don't miss it!

We ended the day with the interactive Music Experience.  Here we took turns playing the drums, the guitar, and dancing and singing with our favorites.
While the kids focused on singing and playing the instruments, I took a picture too.

We had a great day!  I highly recommend Madame Tussauds to everyone who wants to have some fun.  It is fun for all ages, a wonderful place to spend a few hours with family and friends.  You will have a lot of laughs and take tons of pictures. It will definitely be a day to remember!
