The NotWedding offers an interactive alternative to a bridal show in the form of a big, fake wedding.  Tickets now on sale at www.thenotwedding.com/events/the-3rd-nyc-notwedding/.

The NotWedding is returning to Brooklyn for the round two this September. The event will be held at The Green Building on Tuesday, September 23rd. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the ceremony begins at 6:30 pm. The NotWedding is a bridal show alternative in the form of a big, fake wedding. “Wedding Guests” are brides- and grooms-to-be who enjoy a touching ceremony, a tasty dinner and a dance-party reception while truly experiencing the wedding vendors in action.

Those attending will experience a perfectly planned “wedding” and have the opportunity to meet the vendors behind the scene. The bride and groom featured throughout the event are actually a married couple from the New York area that will be using the event to renew their vows.

Tickets include an emotional (fake) wedding ceremony encouraging strong marriages, a delectable catered dinner, and a reception full of drinks, dancing and dessert. The NotWedding also boasts a handful of surprises planned for the guests throughout the evening.

Callie Murray, owner of The NotWedding, believes her company offers a revolutionary twist to the traditional bridal show: “The NotWedding allows brides-to-be to get a feel for how wedding vendors would actually perform on their wedding day, and wedding vendors love being able to truly show off what they do and how
they work under the normal pressures of a wedding day.”  Style Me Pretty, a top wedding blog that receives millions of hits per month, coined The NotWedding “the
end-all-be-all of wedding events,” and vendors who have offered their services in the past also rave about the company. “Undoubtedly, this event single-handedly launched my brand to where it is today,” says Amy Osaba, whose floral design company provided floral design at past events.

The NotWedding was launched in Atlanta in 2008 and has since grown into multiple markets. For more information on The NotWedding, please visit www.thenotwedding.com and for more information on The New York NotWedding, please visit www.thenotwedding.com/events/the-3rd-nyc-notwedding/.
