Spangler Science Club sends you a new science adventure to your door every month. We had the chance to test out one of their latest kits, which is pictured above. Right from the start the kids were impressed. They loved how the kit looked-- they thought it was very 'official.' Suddenly I had a bunch of scientists on my hands ready to work with their test tubes, droppers, and testing materials.
As we started on our first experiment, the kids were so interested that they listened carefully to every single direction. They watched and waited for their turn to try out the materials.
They worked together and helped each other as they made new discoveries. The kit definitely encouraged working cooperatively. The experiments were great to do with friends but can still be done independently.

Luckily for us, Steve Spangler also provided us with a crowd favorite, Insta-Snow! It was so loved by both the parents and kids at our party, that we kept having to make more because EVERYONE wanted to play with some. It is amazing to watch the 'snow' come to life when you just add water. Everyone loved squishing it, experimenting and playing with it. From the youngest kid to the adults, it was in high demand!
We live in New York, so we are used to seeing snow each year. This was still a huge hit! I can't imagine how fascinating it must be for those living in warmer climates, who rarely experience snow. It is a must have! It is an amazing sensory experience, a great science experiment, and just all around fun.
