Plan A Visit To Legoland Discovery Center!

December 13, 2014
Looking for something new and different to do with your kids?  Check out Legoland Discovery Center in Westchester!  Just a short drive away, this place is a lot of fun!

We had the opportunity to visit Legoland Discovery Center Westchester.  It was a very cold day out, and this was a great activity to do indoors with the kids.  We started off our visit with a kid sized tour of how Legos are made.  It was interactive and the kids were able to touch and play with each part of the display.  After that, we headed to the first ride, Kingdom Quest--where we traveled through the Kingdom in moving cars, aiming our lasers at different evils throughout.  We were able to compete against each other, which my competitive boys loved.  Happy to report that I scored higher than my husband--- yahoo!

After that we went through the amazing Miniland, where there were incredible replicas of all the amazing sights of New York City.  Yankee Stadium, Madame Tussauds, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Empire State Building, and so much more.  Next came the gigantic indoor play place, which my kids LOVED!  They had so much fun, that after an hour we had to convince them to come out.  We enjoyed a very unique ride experience on Merlin's Apprentice Ride, and checked out a fun 4-D Movie.  The kids created cars and tested them at the Racer's Build & Test.  The activities were fun and varied.  There were many unique things to do and all three of my boys had a blast there.  We would definitely go back!
