The Greatest Pirate Story Never Told is Back!!

January 30, 2015
One of our favorite shows, The Greatest Pirate Story Never Told, is back!  The new and improved show is a very interactive, improvised, Pirate Musical- with lots of audience participation.  Expect new scenes, songs and even more fun this time around!  The Snapple Theater is a great setting which really allows you to be up close with the actors.  There isn't a bad seat in the house!  To purchase tickets to the show, click Here.

The show starts with the pirates rushing through the crowd high-fiving and chatting with audience members on their way in.  This sets the tone for the whole performance-- you really feel like you are part of the crew!  The show is full of improv, as the audience fills in the blanks for the story as it goes along.  And the pirates have to make the story come alive-- in song!

My kids were thrilled when they were chosen to name the captain of the ship (Captain Scurvy), and laughed out loud when someone else decided the pirate ship would be made of cotton candy.  The audience had a lot of fun with the details, and the crew did a great job creating a story around them.  You would never know this story hadn't been told before!  This show is unique and funny, and great for kids of all ages.  My boys want to go back and see the show again- because they know next time it will be totally different!

The crew posed for fun pictures at the end and were great with all of the kids in the audience.  It was an excellent family experience.... a wonderful way to spend our Saturday morning!
