The “Riverhead Holiday Light Show” Prepares for its Third Season!
The third annual Riverhead Holiday Light Show is slated to open Thursday, November 19th.
Riverhead, NY - After months of planning and hard work the Riverhead Holiday Light Show, Suffolk county's largest drive-through light show, is slated to return Thursday, November 19th at 5pm at the Long Island Sports Park. The show will feature dozens of larger-than-life displays, some towering as tall as 3 stories, and spanning more than 50 feet in length spread over the course of a 1 mile driving trail! By popular demand, BOLD Media has incorporated numerous new, never-before-seen displays at the Riverhead Holiday Light Show to give attendees new and exciting attractions for the third year of the light show! Attendees can expect to take about 20-25 minutes to drive through the show in its entirety. Once open, the show is scheduled to remain open Thursday-Sunday through December 30th. In a year full of cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Riverhead Holiday Holiday Light Show is here to save the magic of the holiday season. All guests will enjoy the entire light performance from the comfort and safety of their own vehicles. The incredible light displays will also be synchronized with holiday music broadcast over the FM radio in each patron’s vehicle.
Car-load tickets are on sale now for $23 online at RiverheadLightShow.com. Tickets purchased online will be valid any day the show is open. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $25, although availability is not guaranteed. In celebration of this announcement, the Riverhead Holiday Light Show is offering $20 admission tickets purchased online through Monday, October 12th. Members of the press are invited to attend our media event prior to opening night to explore the property and experience the larger-than-life light displays up close prior to opening the show to the public.
